Symposium Talent Contest is the leading organization of dance talent contests in the Midwestern United States. We offer the following categories of competition: Classical Tap, Contemporary Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Song and Dance, Musical Show, Novelty/Character, Clog, Acrobatic and Hip Hop. We offer reasonable entry fees, quality judging and a fun, positive atmosphere for all contestants.
2011 30th Anniversary Schedule is Posted
The Symposium Family is proud to present the 30th Annual Tour. Symposium was founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota and it's first season occurred in 1981. Symposium remains a family owned and operated contest. We provide a positive friendly like atmosphere for children to showcase their skills. Our judges are well versed in all forms of dance and operate successful dance studios throughout the Midwest. This will also be a very special season as RUSTY will be celebrating his 60th Birthday throughout the season. Come join the fun.
During the Nationals Rochester will be holding their annual Rochester Fest right outside the doors of the Civic Center. This is a great celebration with plenty of fun, food and music.
